New Bajaj Avenger 400X Superbike: Bajaj Auto has once again pushed the boundaries of style, performance, and affordability with the launch of its much-anticipated Avenger 400X Superbike. This new addition to the Avenger lineup marks a bold leap forward, blending cruiser charm with powerful street performance. Targeted at both seasoned riders and cruiser bike lovers, the 400X promises to redefine the mid-segment motorcycle experience in India.

Design
The Bajaj Avenger 400X carries forward the classic low-slung cruiser design but with modern refinements. A redesigned fuel tank, sharp LED DRLs, full digital instrument console, and dual-tone color options give it an aggressive yet premium street presence. The wide handlebar and forward-set footpegs maintain the traditional relaxed cruiser ergonomics, ensuring long rides are comfortable and stylish.
Engine & Performance
At the heart of the Avenger 400X lies a 373cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, borrowed from the Dominar 400. This powerhouse churns out around 40 PS of power and 35 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The refined engine ensures quick acceleration, smooth highway cruising, and confident overtaking, making it suitable for both city commutes and long-distance touring.
Ride Quality & Features
The Avenger 400X is equipped with telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers for a plush ride across varied terrains. Dual-channel ABS with front and rear disc brakes ensures safety and control. The 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in wider tires offer excellent road grip.
Price
Expected to be priced around ₹2.30 – ₹2.50 lakh (ex-showroom), the Avenger 400X undercuts many higher-end cruisers while offering premium features and performance. Bajaj aims to position this model as an entry-level alternative to international cruisers like the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 or even the Honda H’ness CB350.
